Thanks for this piece Beth. I have been interested in BDNF and GABA for a while now and taking steps to improve, like exercise, nutrition and supplements but I will take a look at the video as well. I know that IF works miracles for lots of things.
But I did skim to end, clicked on the new IF study, and in the Research Highlights read their second bullet point: "People with heart disease or cancer also had an increased risk of cardiovascular death." That line indicates this definitely has not been peer-reviewed! Like saying, "People who are in a car crash have an increased risk of dying in a car accident." Wow.
Anyway, will read more thoroughly. And I actually hope that study is scientifically more valid than it's second bullet point, because I'm lousy at Intermittent Fasting so hope it's not a helpful thing to do!
